GRONINGEN DECLARATION NETWORK

Ever since its inception way back in 2012, the Groningen Declaration Network has been making waves and been growing to include by January 2017 some 1150 contacts. That figure includes more stakeholders than those that actually participated in our previous annual meetings. The figure represents all those persons that indicated interest in the Network, be it as followers, endorsers, competitors, policy advisors, or in whatever other function. For many among those 1150 contacts, the interest is linked to a person and does not necessarily imply the same kind of organizational commitment (yet ..) as the commitment of our signatories, our board and our speakers over the years. That being said, having an overview of the global resonance and expanse of the ecosystem that the network has come to bring togeter may be stimulating, and it is for ºthat reason that we now present our first effort at giving you such an overview. This is very much work in progress and basically represents the activities that our network’s stakeholders are primarily involved in. So please have a first peek at the GDN Tree and keep in mind that the tree will keep growing and unfolding as we progress.
