Paris Travel Information
How to navigate the city of lights

Public transportation workers in the Paris area will be on strike on 18, 19 and 20 April which may lead to reduced service during the days of the conference, so we recommend that you consult one of the apps below, particularly City Mapper, which is the best informed and the most up to date.

Charles de Gaulle Airport Taxi Service. This will take you from the Charles de Gaulle airport to your hotel or the Sorbonne. Call +33 (0)6 07 60 49 14, or visit http://www.taxi-paris.net/page52.html to schedule your transportation.

Three mobile apps

City Mapper - We recommend that you use CityMapper for all your mobility needs with the Paris’ public transportation system. CityMapper includes information about buses, metro and RER, the suburban train lines and is available in a variety of languages. Remember to download the app before traveling.

Uber - For those that prefer Uber, allowing you to call a private car to your location and input the address of where you’re going. Remember to download the app before traveling.

Les Taxis Bleus - Les Taxis bleus allows you to order a taxi online. You will have to make an account. Remember to download the app before traveling. Note: Taxis are not required to accept credit cards, so always have cash available.
